Andrew Kowalski, MD, MPH, FASN, is a board-certified internist and nephrologist with a focus on interventional nephrology and kidney disease management. Currently, Andrew serves as a nephrologist at Nephrology Associates Northern Illinois / Indiana since July 2018, emphasizing the preservation of muscle mass and reduction of inflammation to enhance health and longevity. As a founder of Hack the Match and nephhacks.com, Andrew has created resources for residency application coaching and online nephrology education. Andrew's previous experiences include fellowships and chief residency positions, showcasing a solid academic and professional foundation established through education at St. George's University, where Andrew obtained both an MD and an MPH in Epidemiology.
