Ilya Shvetsov has a diverse work experience in the human resources field. Ilya is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Neon Labs since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Head of People at Tudor Hotels Collection from November 2022 to July 2023.
Before that, Ilya served as the Global Human Resources Director at Buyk, a tech start-up in the grocery delivery market. Ilya joined the company in June 2021 and left in August 2022. During their time at Buyk, Ilya played a crucial role in scaling up the company from 0 to 1200 employees in just 11 months. Ilya led a team of 35 HR professionals and was responsible for building the HR capability from scratch, including talent acquisition, payroll & benefits, HR core, L&D, and culture. Additionally, Ilya served as a trusted partner and coach to Buyk leaders on strategic people questions.
Prior to Buyk, Ilya worked at Wincanton as the Head of Talent from October 2020 to September 2021. Wincanton is the largest British logistics firm, and Ilya collaborated across the business to develop and align long-term and short-term plans for talent pipeline and workforce development. Ilya also designed accountability tools for continuous performance management and built out career pathways for key positions.
Ilya gained valuable experience at Kingfisher plc where they held multiple roles. From July 2019 to June 2020, they led a full-cycle online HR technology transformation program for 78,000 employees in 9 countries, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and performance management. As the Head of Learning and Development from May 2017 to July 2019, Ilya developed and executed the talent strategy for 3,000 employees, redesigned the L&D tech platform, and managed the L&D budget.
Earlier in their career, Ilya was the Head of Learning and Development at O'KEY group from October 2015 to April 2017. Ilya led a digital transformation program for the L&D function and also served as an HR Business Partner from April 2012 to October 2015, providing operational HR support to 11,000 employees, implementing HR policies and procedures, and driving talent management processes and initiatives.

Ilya Shvetsov's education history includes several significant experiences. In 2005, they attended Ryslinge Højskole and studied Danish, Philosophy, Political Science, and Rhetoric. Afterward, in 2011, they attended the School of Politics and Business for a short period and pursued a Diploma in PR and Advertising. Currently, in 2022, they are enrolled in CIPD Qualifications and is working towards completing a CIPD Level 7 program. Additionally, Ilya has obtained additional certifications, including the UK Global Talent Visa from the UK Home Office in April 2020, and the Certified Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) Practitioner certification from Thomas International in December 2016.
