Pankaj Jain has a long history of consulting work. Pankaj began their career by founding and becoming a partner at Neocortex, Inc. in 2001. Pankaj then worked as a consultant for Cisco Systems in 2008, Sun Microsystems in 2005, Oracle in 2005, Seagate in 2004, and Cisco in 2004. In 2011, they worked as a consultant for Cisco Systems, NetApp, Agilent Technologies, and JDSU.

Pankaj Jain completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur between 1986 and 1990. Pankaj then went on to receive a PGDM (MBA) in Information Systems and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad between 1990 and 1992.
