Jim Tieman has worked in the software engineering field for over 20 years. Jim began their career in 2000 at CNET Content Solutions, where they served as the AVP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Senior Manager of Engineering. During their time at CNET, they developed and launched the ChannelOnline application, which grew the customer base to 850 Value-added Resellers and $6M/day in transactions by 2010. In 2010, they moved to Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering and Website Technology, where they revolutionized the company-wide product development process. In 2016, they founded Transmorphic Games and served as the Founder and CTO. At Transmorphic, they invented a new and unique navigation technology for continuous-thrust spacecraft. Most recently, they have worked at Neocis since 2018, first as the Director of Software Engineering and currently as the Senior Director of Software Engineering.
Jim Tieman received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1987. Jim later earned a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica in 2004.
