Rob Marjot is a Geo-Information Engineer and Software Developer with extensive experience in satellite imagery and geo-information systems. Employed at NEO BV Netherlands since January 2011, Rob has led multiple projects, including the development of visualisation systems for CAP OTSC & CbM results, CropMonitor for field monitoring using satellite data, and the National Satellite Data Portal for the Netherlands Space Office. As a Senior Software Engineer at the World Food Programme, Rob contributes to the African Risk Capacity, enhancing disaster response and food security through advanced satellite weather surveillance tools. Freelancing for ADC ArcheoProjecten B.V., Rob has developed the ArcheoSuite platform to support archaeological research. Other roles include working on the eCharting project in Malaysia, developing hydrographic processing toolkits, and serving as a Geo-Information Analyst at Ballast Nedam. Rob holds multiple degrees from Utrecht University and HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, including an MSc in Geographical Information Science and a BSc in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science.
