Siva Vanapalli currently serves as the Bryan Pearce Bagley Regents Chair in Engineering, Professor, and President's Excellence in Research Professor at Texas Tech University since October 2008, where previous roles included Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. In addition, Siva Vanapalli is the Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder of NemaLife, Inc., a position held since June 2018. Prior to these roles, Siva Vanapalli was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Twente from 2006 to 2008. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2002-2006), a Master's degree in Food Science from Penn State University (1998-2001), and a B.Tech. in Agricultural and Food Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (1994-1998).
