Alan Robinson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical systems and project management within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer at Nelson Engineering Co. since February 2014, Alan specializes in 3-D modeling and designing access and handling equipment. Previous roles include CAD Design Engineer at Spherion Staffing where Alan worked on 3D modeling for the Orion spacecraft, and Mechanical Systems Engineer at United Space Alliance and Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included planning integrated testing, developing structural test plans, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts degree from Brevard Community College.
