Nelson González Peñate has a strong background in software engineering and development. Nelson started their career in 2013 at the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, where they worked as a Software Developer and also contributed to the Proyecto Visualización 3D de Información Geográfica. Nelson continued to gain experience in backend engineering at Busolinea from 2018 to 2019, where they focused on microservices development, back office service improvement, and anti-fraud rule implementation. In 2019, Nelson joined PriceTravel Holding as a Backend Engineer before moving to Creditas in 2020, where they worked until 2021 as a Backend Engineer. Nelson is currently employed at Nelo as a Software Engineer, starting in April 2021.

Nelson González Peñate attended the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering.
