Alberto Castro has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Alberto is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Nelo, where they lead and mentors engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Prior to that, Alberto worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Nelo, where they built digital payment solutions using Spring Boot, Kotlin, and PostgreSQL. Alberto also had experience with AWS services and conducted extensive unit and integration testing.

Alberto Castro holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, which they obtained from 2009 to 2015. In 2022, they enrolled in the University of Essex, where they pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
