Vivian Esparza's work experience includes various roles at Nelnet and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. At Nelnet, they started as a Project Advisor in October 2018 and then worked as a Customer Service Advisor from March 2019 to August 2019. Vivian was promoted to Specialist 1 from August 2019 to January 2020 and then became a Specialist 2 from February 2020 to October 2020. From October 2020 to June 2021, Vivian served as a Global Quality Specialist 2. Currently, they are working as a Customer Service Team Lead at Nelnet since July 2021. At Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, they worked as a Crew Member from February 2018 to January 2019 and later became a Certified Trainer from February 2019 to September 2019.

Vivian Esparza attended La Serna High School until 2017. Vivian then enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017, focusing on Accounting and Finance. However, their studies were not completed at that time. Later, from 2019 to 2023, Vivian attended Southeast Community College and obtained an Academic Transfer degree. Afterward, they returned to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business and Pre-Dental, which they completed in 2026.
