Bart Heijthuisen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bart started their career as a Senior Technologist at Nyrstar Budel B.V. in 2006, and went on to become a Production Coordinator and Superintendent at Nyrstar Belgium N.V. In 2012, they joined Nyrstar Hobart Pty Ltd, where they held various roles including Production Planner, Superintendent, and Senior Metallurgist. Bart then moved on to Diffutherm B.V. as a Manager of Operations before transitioning to Berry Global, Inc. as a Sr. Plant Director. Bart also co-founded Merahki NL, where they developed an art box product called TSNUKBOX. Bart later worked at Rompa Group as an Operations Manager and Plant Manager. Currently, Bart serves as the Director of Operations at Nelipak Healthcare Packaging and is a Member of the Supervisory Board at Optimum Clinics.

Bart Heijthuisen has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 1989, they completed their VWO degree at Philips van Horne. Bart went on to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering, earning their Ing BSc from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 1999. Bart furthered their education by obtaining an Ir MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2002.

In 2011, Bart attended Vlerick Business School's Middle Management Programme, enhancing their skills in the field. In 2019, they obtained the Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certification from The Lean Six Sigma Company, demonstrating their proficiency in this area.

Throughout their career, Bart has also pursued additional certifications. In 2019, they acquired the "Stay Lean with Kanban" certification from LinkedIn.

Furthering their knowledge and expertise, in 2020, Bart attended courses in Kunststof-, matrijs- en spuitgiettechnologie at Mikrocentrum. Bart also enrolled in the Higher Management program at New Improvement from 2020 to 2021, broadening their knowledge in this domain.

In 2022, Bart pursued a certification as a 1st/2nd Party Auditor IATF 16949:2016, specializing in auditing, at Symbol BV.
