Marco Balestri serves as a Legal Advocate in the Housing Defense Practice at the Neighborhood Defender Service since May 2022, while also holding a position as a County Committee Member for the New York County Democratic Party since June 2022. Balestri's political engagement includes significant roles as a Field Organizer for the Democratic Party of Georgia and the Maine Democratic Party, contributing to historic electoral victories. With a background in social media management and research assistance at Columbia University, Balestri has demonstrated expertise in organizing, advocacy, and historical research. Balestri earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Columbia University, building a foundation in political science and history from the High School of American Studies at Lehman College.
