Greg Marks is a seasoned fire professional with extensive experience in fire safety and investigation. Currently serving as a Fire Analyst at NEFCO Fire Investigations since June 2022, Greg also holds the position of Deputy Fire Marshal with the City of Gulfport since July 2016. Previous roles include Fire Chief for the Air National Guard from October 1998 to September 2016 and Assistant Fire Chief for the State of Alabama Military Department from November 1989 to October 1998. Greg's career began as a Fire-Medic with the City of Leeds from September 1979 to 1990. Academically, Greg holds a Master's Degree in Theology from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas Grantham, and two Associate's Degrees in Fire Science and general studies. Greg is also certified as a NAFI-CFEI and CFII.
