Lauri Asbury is a Master of Public Affairs candidate at the La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as a Graduate Project Assistant, Lauri specializes in research, administration, and study design focusing on democracy and water systems analytics. As a Board of Education Member for the Neenah Joint School District, Lauri has held roles including Vice President and Chair of the Legislative Committee, contributing to educational policy and strategic planning initiatives. Previous experience includes an internship at RENEW Wisconsin, involvement in various boards such as the Winnebago Area Literacy Council and the Samaritan Counseling Center, and a prior role as Executive Scheduler for Cassidy & Associates. Lauri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan and has completed a certificate program in Energy Policy Analysis.
