Elisabeth Wever is a seasoned policy adviser and data scientist at the Dutch Healthcare Authority (Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit, NZa) since March 2013, where expertise in healthcare policy is applied. Prior to this role, Elisabeth served as a researcher at Erasmus MC from May 2007 to June 2012, focusing on the effects of prostate cancer screening on population health. Elisabeth began their career as an intern at SNS REAAL, analyzing stochastic reserving methods for large claims from September 2006 to January 2007. Academically, Elisabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Master of Science (MSc) in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Econometrics and Operational Research, both from Tilburg University.
