Carianne van Dorst is an experienced professional in the fields of cultural anthropology and education, currently serving as a Wetenschappelijk Medewerker Presenteren en Educatie at the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum since March 2009. Prior to this role, Carianne was a Freelance Researcher focusing on the history of daily life from 2004 to 2009. Academic experience includes positions as a PhD student at both the Technical University Eindhoven (2000 - 2004) and the University of Amsterdam (1998 - 2000). Carianne holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam (1993 - 1996) and a Bachelor's degree in Languages and Economics from HES Amsterdam (1989 - 1992), alongside a solid educational foundation from Onze Lieve Vrouwe Lyceum (1982 - 1988).
