Derek Maher currently serves as the Head of Sales at Nectr since March 2024. Previously, Derek held multiple roles at solarZero from July 2016 to March 2024, including Director of Sales Strategy, Head of Engagement and Channel Development, National Sales Director, and Sales Operations & Training Manager. From January 2016 to August 2023, Derek operated as a self-employed motivational and self-development coach and public speaker. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director at Paragon Elite Pty Ltd & Paragon Elite Training Academy from November 2012 to January 2016, Corporate Trainer at Freetricity plc for a brief period in 2012, and Sales Trainer at Solagex Australia Pty Ltd from January 2011 to May 2012. Educationally, Derek attended the Australian Maritime College between 2000 and 2001, following studies at Noosa District High School from 1998 to 1999.
