Prabhu Marappan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Prabhu is currently working as a Software Engineer at NectarVet since April 2023. In this role, they have designed and integrated an end-to-end user onboarding system, redesigned the deployment process, developed new features, and provided support for production issues.

Prior to NectarVet, Prabhu worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC) at Portland State University from January 2022 to March 2023. During this time, they optimized data collection, implemented a rate limiter, and improved data retrieval for transportation research.

Before TREC, Prabhu served as a Senior Software Engineer at Freshworks from January 2021 to September 2021. Prabhu contributed to the Developer Platform team, where they decreased loading times and upgraded CLI tools.

Prabhu also has experience as a Technical Lead at Dozee from July 2019 to December 2020. In this role, they led the design, deployment, and maintenance of a critical health processing service, reduced infrastructure cost and deployment time, and implemented an efficient logging infrastructure.

Earlier in their career, Prabhu worked at Infratab Bangalore as a Software Developer from October 2018 to June 2019, at Dozee as a Software Engineer from November 2016 to October 2018, and at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee from June 2016 to November 2016.

Prabhu Marappan has a diverse education history. Prabhu pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science from Portland State University between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from SRM University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prabhu started their educational journey at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they obtained their High School diploma with a focus on Science, graduating in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Prabhu also holds a certification in Game Design from Virtual Infocom. The specific month of obtaining this certification is not provided, but it was completed in 2012.
