Marc Shepard is the Co-Founder and President of New England Cannabis Conventions, established in June 2014, where Marc successfully launched the largest cannabis convention in New England and expanded to eight markets within the first four years. Prior to this, Marc held the position of Associate Publisher at Portland Phoenix from October 2016 to December 2017, managing sales, operations, and editorial direction for the alt-weekly media outlet. From August 2012 to December 2016, Marc served as Associate Publisher and Vice President of Sales at Dig Publishing. Earlier in their career, Marc was Vice President of Media Sales at Phoenix Media/Communications Group, overseeing sales across multiple publications, and held the role of Associate Publisher at Portland Phoenix and Account Executive at Boston Phoenix. Marc studied Communication and Media Studies at Bridgewater State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.
