Kevin Schawang is an accomplished professional in the field of information technology and electric reliability compliance, currently serving as an Electric Reliability Compliance Specialist at Nebraska Public Power District since June 2020. Prior to this role, Kevin held the position of Director of Information Technology at the City of Hastings, NE from October 2018 to June 2020. Kevin's extensive experience in the industry also includes nearly two decades at Hastings Utilities, where duties ranged from Information Technology Supervisor to Assistant Engineer. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from Bellevue University (2015-2017) and an Associate's degree in Architectural Drafting and Architectural CAD/CADD from Central Community College (1996-1998).
