Manel Bueno Ballesteros has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries.
Manel began their career as an intern at Marriott International - Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, where they worked as a Food & Beverage Manager Assistant and gained experience in catering organization for international events.
Manel then joined Aspro Parks as an Area Catering Director, overseeing catering operations in three thematic parks in Catalonia. Manel also trained other Catering Directors within the company and eventually became the Deputy Catering Director at the company's headquarters in Madrid.
Manel then transitioned to Fira Barcelona, where they held various roles including Events Sales Director, Events Director, and GastroFira Commercial Director.
Prior to their current role, they worked at The Biz Change as a Sales, Marketing, Business Development & Management Advisor.
Currently, Manel is the COO and Event Director at Next Business Exhibitions > NEBEXT, where they lead and manages event operations.
Manel Bueno Ballesteros completed the Executive General Management Program PDD at IESE Business School from 2014 to 2015. In 2006, they also completed the Programa Enfocado Direccion de Ventas at the same institution. In 1995, they obtained a Diplomatura in Direccion Hotelera - European Hotel Management Diplome (EURHODIP) from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship" from the University of Maryland - Coursera Verified Certificates in 2014.
