Mahan Bastani has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2013, they worked at Advent Ignitions as a Technician, Programmer, and Designer until 2017. In 2014, they joined iViu Technologies as an Embedded Software Developer and Circuit Designer, and stayed with the company until 2020. From 2013 to 2020, they were also the Director of Engineering at Radian Laser Systems and an Embedded System Engineer. In 2020, they transitioned to iHerb, LLC, first as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, then as a Principal Robotic System Architect, and finally as the Director of Robotic Systems from April to June 2022. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CTO of Neatolabs, LLC, starting from August 2022. Throughout their career, Bastani has gained expertise in various aspects of technology, including hardware design, embedded systems, and robotic systems.

Mahan Bastani earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in the years 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Fullerton College in the years 2013 to 2015. In 2013, they also briefly attended San Jose State University. Mahan'shigh school education was completed at Fullerton Union High school from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Multimedia Design and Production from ROP orange county in 2012, as well as multiple certifications in Robocup Iranopen in the years 2010, 2012, and 2013.
