Marley Gilliam possesses extensive experience in geospatial content and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Geospatial Content Technician at Nearmap since May 2021, Marley has progressed through various roles including Geospatial Content Technician and Junior Geospatial Content Technician. Prior experience includes a sustainability internship at Virginia Tech, where Marley led the "Water Team" to promote sustainability initiatives on campus. Additionally, Marley held the position of Vice President Finance for Sigma Kappa Sorority, managing chapter finances and budgets. Previous roles also include a Research Assistant in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, focusing on food safety and watershed analysis, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the College of Natural Resources and Environment, contributing to stream monitoring projects and recruitment efforts. Marley Gilliam earned a degree in Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation with a focus on Environmental Informatics from Virginia Tech in 2021.
