Emmanuel Ssabavuma has extensive experience in customs declaration and freight forwarding, currently serving as a Declaration Officer at The Grace Freight Forwarders Ltd since November 2012. In this role, Emmanuel is responsible for the declaration of customs duties and taxes, capturing customs entries using ASYCUDA++/World system, and advising clients on their obligations. Previous experience includes working as an Assistant Declaration Officer at Rapid Kate Services (U) Ltd and as a Field Officer at Jaffer Freighter Ltd, with similar responsibilities that involved customs calculations, data management, and client communication. Emmanuel holds a Diploma in Customs Clearing and Forwarding from YMCA Kampala Branch-Wandegeya and an Uganda Advance Certificate of Education in Art subjects from Brightway Hill School-Bukesa.
