Menno Huigsloot is a mechanical engineer and system architect with extensive experience in advanced technology and automation. Currently employed at Nearfield Instruments since October 2018, Menno contributes to the design and development of high throughput scanning probe microscopy systems that enhance microchip production yields for leading chipmakers. Menno also operates Huigsloot Robotics as a project engineer, specializing in the design of multifunctional manipulators for industrial automation. Previous roles include TMC Employeneur at TMC from September 2018 to January 2021 and mechanical engineer at Cruden B.V. from June 2012 to September 2017, focusing on CAD design and structural analysis. Menno holds a Master of Science in Precision and Micro Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology.
