Sara Falamaki has a strong background in software engineering, research, and technical leadership. Their most recent position was as a Senior Software Engineer at Neara, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Nearmap from May 2022 to February 2023. From September 2020 to May 2022, Sara worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in software development, research, and technical leadership. During this time, they were involved in Rules as Code work with the Canadian government. Before their consultancy role, Sara served as the Tech Lead and Manager of Digital Transformation at the NSW Government, where they led digital transformation projects and implemented "Rules as Code" across the NSW Public Sector.
