Yoon Hong began their work experience as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon in June 2013 until July 2014. They then worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft from August 2014 to April 2017. In May 2017, Yoon joined Meta as a Software Engineering Manager and held that position until 2023. They are currently working as an Engineering Manager at NEAR Protocol.
