Tine Heylen currently serves as Chair-Elect for Region VIII at NCURA: National Council of University Research Administrators since January 2024. With extensive experience in research and project management, Tine has been an Advisor for European Projects at K.U.Leuven Research & Development since September 2009. Previously, Tine owned noen, a company specializing in high-quality loose leaf tea, from January 2013 to August 2015. Other roles include Food Safety & Quality Coordinator at Delhaize Group from May 2004 to September 2009, Assistent Nutrition at INVE BV from May 2003 to May 2004, and Wetenschappelijk medewerker at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from September 2002 to May 2003. Tine holds a degree from KU Leuven, completed between 1997 and 2002, and has a background from Don Bosco Haacht.
