Robert Cantu, MBA/CISSP has a diverse and extensive work experience in cybersecurity and technology. Robert served as Vice President of Cybersecurity and Broadband Technology at NCTA, Director of Cybersecurity Operations at Inova Health System, Director of Wireless Industry Cybersecurity at CTIA, Chief of Energy Sector Cyber Intelligence at the US Department of Energy, Senior Network & Distributed Systems Engineer at MITRE, and Computer Forensics Team Lead/Programmer in the United States Air Force. Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies to mitigate risks and advance the interests of various organizations.

Robert Cantu earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2000. Robert went on to complete a Master of Systems Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2002 to 2005. In 2010, they received a Certificate in Leadership for Strategic Execution from Stanford University. Later, in 2012 and 2013, they pursued an MBA in Cyber-Security & Business Analytics at The George Washington University School of Business. Cantu obtained certifications including the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) in 2017, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2016, and Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2012.
