Alison Baker is an experienced publishing professional and regional manager specializing in perinatal peer support. Currently serving as the Regional Manager for NCT Charity in Coventry and Warwickshire since May 2022, Alison previously held various significant roles at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc from July 2011 to June 2024, including Senior Publisher and Senior Commissioning Editor, where responsibilities included strategic planning, list development, and exceeding commissioning targets. Prior to this, Alison worked at Continuum International Publishing Group in roles ranging from Commissioning Editor to Assistant Editor, overseeing academic education texts and honing skills in the commissioning process. Alison holds a 2:1 degree in English and Law from Keele University, achieved between 2003 and 2006.
