Britta Wessén Modig has extensive work experience in various roles. Britta began their career at NCS Colour in 2021, where they initially served as an Operations Coordinator from September 2021 to June 2022. Britta then transitioned to the role of Technical Project Manager, starting in June 2022.

Prior to NCS Colour, Britta worked at Tikkurila Sverige AB from August 2005 to July 2019. During their time there, they had multiple roles, including Technical Advisor and Project Manager. In these positions, they supported sales of paint products, provided guidance to planners and architects, conducted market research, and developed marketing materials. Britta also worked on strategic projects related to sustainability, ICT, and business development. Additionally, they served as a Product Manager for the Scandinavian market, where they were responsible for the product portfolio of indoor products.

In 2012, Britta served as a board member at the Swedish Colour Centre Foundation from November 2012 to December 2016.

Before their time at Tikkurila Sverige AB, Britta worked various extra jobs from January 1998 to July 2005.

Britta Wessén Modig has a diverse education history. Britta obtained a Master of Science in Engineering degree with a focus on Materials Science and Engineering, specifically in Fiber and Polymer, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1999 and 2005. In 1995 to 1998, Britta attended Höglandsskolan where they studied Natural Sciences.

In 2019, they pursued Environmental studies at Luleå University of Technology, and in 2018, they furthered their knowledge in the field at Lund University. Additionally, Britta attended IHM Business School in 2015 to enhance their skills in Project Management.

Alongside their formal education, Britta has also obtained certifications. In 2018, they completed a course on Circular Economy - Sustainable Materials Management from Coursera. Furthermore, in September 2021, Britta received certification in NCS Design from NCS Colour.
