Stephanie Lyon has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and regulatory content strategy. Stephanie is currently the Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory Content Strategy at Ncontracts, where they lead a team in creating and delivering financial services content and serves as the Chairwoman of the Ncontracts Content Committee. Stephanie collaborates with product management to develop solutions and frequently delivers webinars, podcasts, blogs, and white papers on regulatory compliance and risk management. Before joining Ncontracts, Stephanie was the Director of Compliance at the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) and served as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Counsel. Prior to that, they worked as a Risk Management Specialist at GEICO Federal Credit Union and as a Law Clerk at Akin-Deko Professional Services Firm PLLC. Stephanie also gained experience as a Business Intelligence Intern at the World Bank Group, a Regulatory Compliance Intern at the State Department Federal Credit Union, and a Latin America Legal Intern at the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL). At ICNL, they conducted research and presented legal arguments to oppose adverse effects of tentative laws. Stephanie Lyon obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from The George Washington University Law School from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science-International Relations, with a minor in Psychology, from Schreiner University between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, Stephanie has achieved various certifications, such as Dare to Lead Trained, Certified Enterprise Risk Professional, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer, NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO), and NAFCU Certified Risk Manager (NCRM), spanning from 2015 to 2022.
