Lekie Dwanyen is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Minnesota since August 2016, with extensive experience in family therapy as an Intern Therapist at the University of Kentucky Family Center since January 2015. Lekie provides therapy services grounded in a systemic perspective aimed at fostering lasting change for couples and families. Additionally, Lekie serves as a Family Relations Editorial Assistant for the National Council on Family Relations, managing journal manuscript submissions through a comprehensive peer-review process. Previous roles include Office Assistant in the University of Minnesota's Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Research Assistant in the Ronald E. McNair PostBaccalaureate Achievement Program, Human Resources Talent Development Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, and Academic Tutor with the America Reads Literacy Initiative. Lekie holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Minnesota and a Master's degree in Couple & Family Therapy from the University of Kentucky.
