Allison Wickler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Allison began their career as a Staff Reporter at The Minnesota Daily in 2006, later moving on to serve as an Associate Editor and Projects Editor. In 2008, they interned as an Editorial Intern at Minnesota Monthly magazine. The following year, they worked as an Education Reporter and Online Copy Editor at Herald Times Reporter. In 2010, Allison became a Local Editor at Patch before joining the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) in 2012. At NCFR, they initially served as an Online Community and Web Content Manager and then as the Director of Marketing and Communications. Their most recent role at NCFR is Director of the Advancing Family Science Initiative, which they have held since June 2020.
Allison Wickler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Summa Cum Laude, with a minor in Spanish from the University of Minnesota. Allison attended the university from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, they also studied Spanish at La Fundación Ortega y Gassett. Later, from 2013 to 2016, Allison pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of St. Thomas.
