Vanessa Williamson, CAE has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Vanessa began their career at The Society of the Plastics Industry in 1995 as the Director, and later moved to the National Association of Mortgage Brokers / Association Management Group in 2000, where they served as the Director of Education. In 2003, Vanessa joined The American Institute of Architects (AIA) as a Contract Documents Education specialist. From 2009 to 2012, they worked for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. in the Continuing Education department. Currently, Vanessa is the Assistant Vice President of the Executive Office at the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), where they have been since 2012.

Vanessa Williamson, CAE holds a BA degree in Sociology and Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, they have completed the Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate Program at Georgetown University. In 2008, they obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
