Samantha Voorhees is an experienced news producer with a strong background in broadcast journalism, currently working at NBC Bay Area since June 2023. Previously, Samantha held similar roles at KOVR-TV | CBS Sacramento, WIVB/WNLO-TV, and KOLO-TV 8 News Now ABC, contributing to daily newscasts through story selection, research, writing, and real-time adaptation during breaking news. Samantha’s skill set includes creating graphics, proofreading, fact-checking scripts, and training new team members. Earlier career experiences include administrative support at the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority and a field agent representative role at InsideValuation Partners, along with service industry positions. Samantha earned a degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
