Sam Appleby serves as an Event Operations Coordinator at the National Basketball Association (NBA) since September 2024. Prior to this role, Sam was an Advancement Associate at The Gateway School from January 2022 to September 2024 and worked as a Business Outreach Coordinator at Salud! from October 2020 to January 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Field Organizer for Bloomberg 2020, an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Maret School, and a Caddie at Columbia Country Club. Sam began a career in sports communications as an Athletic Communications Student Assistant at Franklin & Marshall College, where responsibilities included videography and broadcasting of varsity sports games. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Franklin & Marshall College, completed in 2018, and a high school diploma from Maret School, received in 2014.
