Saikat Mondal has extensive work experience in various industries. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Area Sales Manager at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, where they were responsible for sales in the Vadodara sales area. In 2013, they joined Steel Authority of India Limited as a Junior Manager. Saikat then transitioned to Amazon in 2017, where they served as a Business Development Manager - Intern, focusing on launching sellers onto the Amazon platform.

In 2018, Saikat joined Tata Strategic Management Group as an Associate Consultant. In this role, they conducted due diligence, facilitated communication within the company, and identified potential synergies. Saikat stayed with the company until 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Saikat worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as part of the Strategy and Corporate Development team. During their tenure, they contributed to the company's strategy and corporate development initiatives.

In 2021, Saikat joined Garena as part of the Strategic Operations team. Saikat worked in this role until 2022.

Most recently, Saikat joined Nazara Technologies Limited in 2022 as the Vice President - Strategy and M&A. Their responsibilities in this role are ongoing.

Saikat Mondal began their education in 2008 at the National Institute of Technology Raipur, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2012, they went on to attend the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences in 2013 and 2014, obtaining a Diploma in Business and Entrepreneurial Law.

In 2015, Saikat Mondal enrolled at the National Human Resource Department (NHRD) and earned certification as a Trainer. This further enhanced their skills and knowledge in the field of training.

Building upon their previous educational experiences, Saikat Mondal pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 2016 to 2018. This program equipped him with management skills necessary for roles in operations and supply chain management.
