Sam Brunt has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Sam started their career in 2012 with OnSite Central Limited as a Drainage Services Assistant, where they gained skills in AutoCAD and surveying. In 2013, they worked as a Trainee Design Engineer at North Midland Construction PLC, gaining experience in both design and construction. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Resort Representative at Neilson Active Holidays, significantly improving their customer service and sales techniques. In 2015, they joined North Midland Construction PLC as a Graduate Engineer, later becoming a Project Engineer, where they focused on wastewater schemes. In 2018, Sam worked as a Site Manager at Ebert Construction Ltd, overseeing various projects across New Zealand.
