Pramodh Chandrasinghe is a distinguished academic and clinical professional currently serving as Chair Professor of Surgery at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. With extensive experience as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon across multiple prestigious hospitals, including Asiri Group Of Hospitals and Kings Hospital Colombo, Pramodh has demonstrated a strong commitment to surgical practice and education. Previously holding positions as Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Pramodh has also contributed as a Clinical Fellow at St. Mark's Hospital Foundation and served as a Senior Registrar in Surgery at North Colombo Teaching Hospital. An accomplished researcher, Pramodh earned a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Imperial College London, complementing an MD in Surgery and an MBBS from respected institutions in Sri Lanka.
