Dumitru Aldea is an experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in digital instrumentation and control systems, particularly within the nuclear energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager for the MMIS and Digital I&C Teams at Nawah Energy Company since April 2020, Dumitru's responsibilities include managing daily activities, ensuring personnel training, and overseeing software development and lifecycle management. Previous roles include Engineering Manager and Design Manager focused on design and systems engineering at Nawah Energy, as well as Senior Manager of Instrumentation and Control at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, where oversight of construction and installation of BNPP was a key focus. Dumitru's earlier career includes significant positions at AtkinsRealis Candu Nuclear, Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd., Siemens Power Generation, and STELCO, with a strong education foundation including a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov.
