Sheetal Mundra is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for Operational Accounting at Navy Federal Credit Union since February 2019, Sheetal has played a pivotal role in the ASC 842 Lease Implementation project while managing the private student loan accounting portfolio and overseeing General Ledger activities such as month-end close. Prior to this role, Sheetal worked as an Assurance Senior Associate at CohnReznick LLP from September 2015 to February 2019, gaining expertise in audits for government contractors, software and manufacturing companies, as well as employee benefit plans. Sheetal holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Pune University, obtained between 1997 and 1999.
