Bob Wimmer is an experienced professional in the field of environmental engineering, currently serving as a Project Developer at Navitas since April 2021, where the focus is on providing clients with infrastructure solutions. Prior to this role, Bob worked at Energy Systems Group as a Senior Engineer from June 2015 to April 2021, specializing in the development and execution of ESCO projects for wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and co-digestion of organic wastes. Bob's expertise also includes a tenure as a WW Process Specialist at Black & Veatch from October 2008 to May 2015, where responsibilities involved the evaluation, design, and optimization of wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, Bob has held leadership positions, including Chair of the Students and Young Professionals Committee at the Water Environment Federation and Vice President at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, overseeing water and wastewater engineering projects and staff management. Bob earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech, following a Bachelor of Science at the same institution.
