Marseelan A has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry. They began their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer at Infosys, where they also held roles as a Technology Architect, Product Technical Lead, and Technical Specialist. In 2018, they became the Lead Data Scientist at EdgeVerve, and in 2022 they accepted a role as Principal Data Scientist at Navikenz. They have extensive knowledge and experience in developing products and solutions, and have worked with various Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Elastic Search, and Akka.

Marseelan A has a diverse educational background. Marseelan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Electronics from St Joseph's College of Arts and Science in 1996-1999. Marseelan then went on to pursue a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Mangala Institute of Management Studies from 1999-2003. Most recently, they have been studying for a Master of Technology (MTech) in Data Science and Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani since 2020.
