Karen Trotter is an experienced finance and Salesforce professional with a diverse background in nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as a Salesforce Consultant at Navigators since April 2024, Trotter provides expertise to nonprofit organizations on Salesforce implementation and maintenance. Previously, Trotter held positions including Accountant at the Iowa Historical Foundation and Salesforce Business Analyst for the Iowa Economic Development Authority, where responsibilities included financial statement preparation and Salesforce administration. With extensive experience at the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs as Director of Finance and Salesforce Administration, Trotter managed significant grant activities and nonprofits' Salesforce instances. Trotter's career also includes roles at FileMaker, Inc. and Derco Aerospace, where financial planning and analysis were key focuses. Trotter holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from The University of Kansas.
