Carsten Manniche has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Carsten is currently the Head of Marine Projects at Navigator Gas since 2022. Before that, they served as the General Manager - Head of Marine Projects at UltraShip from 2013 to 2022, and at Nordic Tankers A/S from 2011 to 2013. Prior to these positions, they worked as the Area Technical Support Manager at Lloyd's Register in 2010, and as the Existing vessel and newbuild support manager at Lloyd's Register EMEA from 2008 to 2010. Carsten also worked at A.P. Moller - Maersk as a Senior General Manager from 1997 to 2008, and as a Cadet officer from 1985 to 1986. Additionally, they held the position of Manager at FORCE Technology from 1993 to 1997.

Carsten Manniche attended Birkerød Statsskole from 1981 to 1984. Carsten then studied at Sønderborg Søfartsskole/training ship "Danmark" for a year, specializing as a Cadet officer. From 1986 to 1991, Carsten Manniche pursued further education at Helsingore Technical College. No specific degree or field of study was mentioned for any of these educational experiences.
