Robert Jones is currently an Infrastructure Engineer at Nava. Prior to that, they were with TableSafe from July 2015 to March 2020, where they served as Operations Engineer II. In this role, they designed, optimized, and monitored Windows and Linux environments to enhance office and production activities for a growing startup. Robert supported our rapid growth and POS development requirements through effective deployment of servers and infrastructure. In addition, they researched and selected software and systems to enhance performance. Robert leveraged VMware, Cisco, PFSense, F5, Windows, Linux, Skype for Business, ELK, AWS, CloudFront to deliver solutions.

Some of their notable achievements while with TableSafe include designing, building, and implementing a scalable Barracuda Web Application Firewall to enhance security of customer-facing services in AWS; leveraging terraform to deploy three new VPCs with network-related supporting services to serve as an additional backup production environment; and providing storage for backup infrastructure at the co-location through build and deployment of new NAS system.

Robert Jones has a high school diploma from Redmond High School.

They are on a team with Tim Jones - Infrastructure Engineer, Jay Reed - Infrastructure Engineer, and Matt Wagner - Infrastructure Engineer. Robert Jones reports to Sean Hendershot, Senior Infrastructure Engineering Lead.
