Marike Bakker is a seasoned legal professional with 29 years of experience specializing in Corporate Crime and leading NautaDutilh's Corporate Crime & Investigations practice since March 2016. Recognized for expertise in white collar and business defense, Marike provides advisory and defense services to corporations and boards during complex government and cross-border investigations. Previously, Marike held partner positions at Ploum Lodder Princen from October 2008 to February 2016 and Simmons & Simmons from 2003 to 2008, as well as serving as a lawyer at Trenité van Doorne, Nolst Trenité, and Simmons & Simmons from 1995 to 2003.
