Ricardo Wagemaker is an experienced professional in the fields of storage and backup management, currently serving as the Platform Lead for Sustainability Engineering and Head of Backup & Storage at NatWest Group since July 2019. In this role, Ricardo oversees a significant portfolio, managing over 34PB of online and offline storage and leading teams across multiple locations. Previously, Ricardo held various positions, including Head of Backups at RBS Global Banking & Markets, where responsibilities encompassed managing the EMEA backup infrastructure, and served as a Senior Storage Consultant at T-Systems, with expertise in technologies such as Netapp and XP12000 Disk arrays.
