Milo Pyne is a seasoned conservation professional with extensive experience in ecological classification and land conservation. Currently serving as Senior Regional Ecologist at NatureServe since 2000, Milo collaborates with various conservation partners, including the Network of Natural Heritage Programs and the National Park Service. Prior to this role, Milo was a Regional Vegetation Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy from 1996 to 1999 and worked as a Natural Heritage Botanist at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation from 1993 to 1996, where responsibilities included conducting surveys for rare plants and leading the Rare Plant Committee. Milo holds a B.S. in Botany and Ecology from North Carolina State University, complemented by earlier studies in Sociology and Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
